The Experience of Colour: Objective Abstraction

Directed by Andrea Andreotti
Produced by Carlo and Luca Dal Bosco per FilmWork
Original music by Carlo Nardi

The Manifesto of Objective Abstraction, signed by artists Diego Mazzonelli, Aldo Schmid, Luigi Senesi, Gianni Pellegrini and Mauro Cappelletti, has been perhaps the most important artistic movement in Trentino after WW2. An exhibition at the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art in London (13 April – 26 July 2016) explores a movement that represents an important phase in the evolution of abstract art.
